What's the Family been up to?

Leah, Jon, Kaitlyn and Maria - hiking to the falls up in Spearfish Canyon - We had a lot of fun with the Judge family here, even though there were 11 people living in 3 bedrooms in the house!  They left us to return to their missionary work  on the 12th of August, and will all be missed.

While the Judges were here, we also went to the new water park at Spearfish.  It has a couple of water slides, and pools suitable for the little ones.  It was a great fun time until we were kicked out due to lightning... But they gave us a refund on our tickets and so we went again!  2 for the price of 1!

On the first weekend of August, we all travelled down to Denver to catch up with some old friends.  This is what the kids got up to in the car...

LOTS of great food, good company and a good time was had catching up with friends - here we were at Henry and Jen's house.

Sonja and Mitch's Wedding!  

We actually don't have many photos of the wedding, because we assumed everyone else would get photos... which they did, but we forgot to get the photos off them!  Well, we have the most important on - Stella and Don (great grandpa) dancing and enjoying themselves at the reception.  It was wonderful to see a smile on his face.

We have been bringing the kids home from daycare at midday to 'rest', and while Tom sleeps in his bed, Sophie is big enough to be allowed to read on the couch.  More often than not, it turns into this though - all tucked up and snoozing.

Sometimes, Sophie makes a fort and falls asleep under there.... She made this out of 1 chair and blankets.

Amber has been getting into pretty nails!  Here are her nails that she wore to the wedding,.

Every week, she has been practicing with different colours and designs.  She is getting pretty good at them...
