Between the rain and sickness, we've been pretty stuck at the house. Nothing really exciting to tell. Blake did a wonderful project about Chili for a CWA school competition. He's joined photography club at the beginning of this term and they are now taking photos and creating presentations with them. I can start posting some of his work! His Athletics carnival got rained out last week so it was held today. He did really well, came in 6th or 7th in the 800, won the Tug-o-War and some other things. I haven't gotten the details from him yet. I was unfortunately unable to attend due to the stomach virus that went around our family.
I think Thomas got it at his daycare on Thursday. He was the first to show signs by spewing up on Friday afternoon. Then on mid Sat morning Sophie started in. By Sat night I was feeling it a little but it was coming out the other end so I thought I was going to get off easy. By Sunday night Michael and Blake both had it, though Blake didn't actually spew, just felt like it. Thomas and Sophie recovered really quickly as well as Michael and Blake. All of them seemed to only take a day of sickness and a day to recover, but then there is me. I always have to be different. 3 days later I am still laid up in bed and can't go more than 5 minutes without visiting my throne. Thankfully it seems to have finally slowed. Michael will try going back to work tomorrow. Thankfully he stayed home today to help with the children or I don't know what we would have done.
I'll leave you with some fun photos and videos so you can get those last nasty visual pictures out of your head!
How to drink spilt milk. - Like big brother, like little brother.
