This last week we focused on Thomas and his 2nd birthday. I've got a lot of videos below, so check them out, they are so cute. It started last Sat, the 2nd of June when he got his first presents down at the farm. We were supposed to go to a Koala Sanctuary but it got rained out. He got his first trains from Kaye and David and a balance bike from Kaye, David, Nanna, and Pa. He loves them all! Unfortunately it was raining so he only got to ride it on the veranda and in the shed.
Then on Monday we put some candles in his brownie at the coffee shop we were having our Ladies Bible Study at. These were his first candles to blow out, Sophie had to help, but by the end of the week he had it down. On Tuesday we had cake and candles at playgroup. Then he got sick, so we had to miss his 2nd playgroup party, but I don't think he noticed. He was fine by Thursday and had a great day at Daycare.
Friday was just a normal day, we went to sing and move and then swimming. Swimming has been great. Thomas has moved up to level 1, so I don't get into the water with him anymore. In fact, he's in the same class as Sophie. Kaye and David came up to stay the night so Michael and I could go to a movie for Michael's birthday.
Sat was quite busy. Michael and I spent the morning serving Sausages at the Bunnings as a fundraiser for Blake's school. Then we had a little break to get ready for another birthday party at our house. We only invited two family's, Peta's and Mel's, but the kids had a blast. The rest of the weekend was mostly fun stuff for me so I'll put that in another post. Thomas ended up getting several trains, a puzzle, and some books.
Little bears I made for Tupperware, treat for the kids, CWA, and other functions that all came that week.
