Easter

Here is a bonus update since I waited so long to get you the last one.

Easter is always a busy time as it also means harvest time, but we do take out a few moments for some fun.  We did things a little differently this time.  Instead of searching for eggs and chocolate, which don't seem to do well hidden for long periods of time up here in the heat... we searched for little presents.  I usually hide the gifts in the morning, but then we have to wait till a break in harvest when both the children are awake, which is a lot harder than it sounds.  This year we were lucky.  We had a few extra guests to help in the searching but we were able to do it mid morning as tea time.

I got some video but not too many still shots.  I hope most of you can view the footage.  Sophie got jammies, socks, craft items, dress up high heels, and some doll clothes for Lolli.  She is really starting to get into colouring and crafts.  She's starting to colour inside the lines now and uses multiple colours on a page.

Thomas got jammies and sock as well.  He really likes socks.  He also got dress up high heels, because I knew if I didn't, he would fight over Sophie's.  He is starting to carry around dolls as well so he got a few clothes too.  I think he just likes being like his big sister.  Don't worry boys, there is plenty of truck action as well.  In fact, he really enjoys this one car that he calls Tracker that makes train noises.  It's awesome.  He also got a marble maze from Kayma that he likes to play with but can't quite put together himself.  Good thing he has a big brother and sister to help him, too bad for them that he's still in the knock it down mode :)

Blake got a new wallet and some rubbers (erasers) for his collection.  He's got quite a few now.  I would bet over 50.  He also got some mold things from Kayma.  I missed getting photos of him, but he had to mix together this stuff, shape it and then let it dry.  I think they have magnets on the back as well.  He was going to paint them, but had to wait until the little ones were busy.  That meant that he had to wait until we left him at Kayma's by himself, so I didn't get photos of him painting either!  I'll get shots of the final products this weekend though.  He was able to stay from Tuesday - Friday down at the farm by himself due to school holidays.   I hope he was helpful.

PS, is the new format for the videos working?

Thomas' new haircut.  Doesn't he look dashing? And in his new jammies.

Sophie and her sunshine smile playing with Thomas' marble maze, in her new jammies.
