November is already over !!!

What an exciting two weeks.  It was Record Breaker Week  from the 24th - 30th of Nov.  We were supposed to break our monthly record in one week.  It's the biggest week of the year for Tupperware all over Australia.  Since I had only done 3 parties, I had to do 4 to break my record.  I'm glad that it was only 4!  I've got my work cut out for me next year.  I did manage to get my 4 parties in, but just barely - throwing one mystery host party myself for the neighbours.  (That's where you draw who gets the host gifts at the end of the party).  4 was quite tiring and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to do 8 parties next year.

I took Michael to a class and the sales meeting last Monday so he could see what all the hype was about.  He seems to be coming around (he didn't want me to do embark on this adventure).  I did end up getting $4100 in sales which was more than my manager and got about $900 of Tupperware for free.  My pantry is nearly all done now, which was the reason I wanted to start selling in the first place.  So after next month, I can decide if I want to continue and make some money, or if I want to stop cause I reached my goal.  At first I was going to stop since Michael didn't really want me to do it, but now he's changed his mind and is willing to let me continue so we shall see.

As for the kids - they love Tupperware, especially the boxes everything comes in!  Blake was sick all last week but has recovered.  Sophie and Thomas enjoyed having him home for a time, thankfully they didn't get sick as well.  Last weekend Michael took them all down to the farm so I could 'rest and catch up'.  But you know me!  I sorted and wrapped all my Tupperware for delivery, got all my Christmas presents organized, and sewed a quilt! I was extremely tired at the end and wished I would have rested more, but it will make the whole rest of Dec much better.  All that work would have taken me about 3 weeks if I would have tried to fit it in during naps and after bed time.

We are trying to go on our first camping trip since Thomas was born this weekend, but now it's rained all week!  It is supposed to clear up this weekend, so it might be muddy, but we are still going to give it a go.  Hopefully it will turn out great.

All dressed up for Michael's work Christmas party.

Oh, yes, we love boxes.

And we never get too old for them!
