Yes, I know the blog is late, by 3 days! I've been preparing to go to London and I didn't realize how much stuff I had to do. On Monday it was the last day of swim lessons, errands, laundry, etc. Same boring stuff because I'm not leaving till Sat so you can't start anything this early. I did work really hard on my quilt to get it done before I left.
Tuesday was Bible Study. I made sure I had everything from there and from our small group so I could keep up while away. Wednesday was the hardest as I had to prepare my playgroup for me going away. I prepared crafts for three weeks (one was this weeks), updated my replacement, made sure everything was ready. I still have to do the newsletter *sigh*.
Thursday I was passing off my responsibilities for the Tupperware Party I had last week. I didn't want them to have to wait till I got back to get their stuff. Handed out invitations for a party when I get back and gave over some art ideas and supplies. Friday we did the last of the laundry, went grocery shopping, went to the library, went to the farm, went to a meeting......yeah, it was quite busy.
I packed this morning, made bread, made pumpkin cake, made pizza, and am now just getting to my Wednesday computer time:) The kids did great during all this. Sophie is excited to go play at her friends house next week. Thomas has no clue what is going on, but loves to take things out and put things in all the bags. I'm sure I'll be missing something or find that I brought something that I definitely didn't pack. Blake just wants me to leave so he doesn't have to work so hard. Just kidding, he's going to miss me. We had a lovely time playing a new card game last night. And Michael. Well he's missing me already but doing a great job letting me get my stuff ready.
