Recovering

Well not much to write this week. Just been recovering and taking it easy. Michael is learning what it's like to be a stay at home Dad with two little ones because I haven't been much help. He's realizing it's not what he thought. He didn't think it was easy by any means, but he's finding it quite and experience. In fact, Wednesday he even went to work with Kaye stayed to help me, just to have a break!

Thomas is growing already and has moved from 0000 size to 000 all in a week. He's just over 9 lbs and is adapting quite well to our household. He eats well and sleeps lots, though his days and nights are mixed up a bit. I haven't tried to fix it yet as his large sleeps are in the morning when I'm getting the other kids up and around and again in the evening when we are settling for the night. I'm sure I'll need to fix it at some point though.

One week till my parents get here. The work on the house is still going on, though really slowly now (as we expected). The landscaping around the carport is done as much as it can be (till the veranda is done). I'll try to get pictures for the next post. The veranda is going along. We are still waiting for council approval before any real work can get done. Michael has worked on the form work for the concrete bit by bit this week though.

Sophie is doing well with Thomas. She likes to share her Teddy's and toys and also cuddles with him and gives him lots of kisses. Rocky is also very concerned when he cries and sits by my feet to guard while I'm feeding him. Blake seems to be taking it in stride. Still more concerned about friends and school and play than he is with the baby, but I guess that's boys for you.

I know the pillow is pink, but isn't it the cutest sleeping picture ever! Besides, I don't think that he minds the pink.

Sophie sharing and playing with Thomas.

Caught red handed! We put the bread dough in the sun to raise and we caught Sophie pinching some! (BTW, I think dough is gross raw but everyone else in the house seems to like it.)

Awwwww!

K-ma having a blast.

Sophie decided to smash her All Bran into her bread and have and All Bran sandwich.
