Not much to tell this week. I have two weeks left till my due date and as of tomorrow, it will be the longest pregnancy I have ever had, seeing as my other two came early. Today was my guess for the birth guessing game so I guess I'm not any better than the rest of you! hehe. I suppose this baby will be late just to spite us all. I'm guessing June 14th. That's two days after my due date and if it's not out by then, I'm asking to be induced. And for all of you that we haven't passed by your guessed date yet, good luck!
Not much happened this weekend around the house. It rained all day on Sat, which put a damper on things. Michael rented a tracker called the dingo which has many attachments. He had a blast. He dug lots of holes a meter deep for the veranda poles, and also two ditches. Our carport landscaping has been put on hold so we can try to get rid of some of the mud around here by doing the paving stones for the veranda first. Unfortunately it goes really slow because there are several steps that you can't see in the finished product but must be done first. Like digging about 7 holes 1 meter deep, form work for cement, an inspection by council, laying the cement, leveling everything out, and then laying the main pavers, then cutting all the side pavers, then finally finishing it so you can walk on it. And the only thing you see are the last few steps. But we sure will enjoy it!
I should have taken more pictures this weekend, but I just don't get along too well with mud. I stayed inside and for some reason all our windows are dirty (wonder why?) so I didn't want to take pictures through them.
Latest quilt. This is a baby quilt for my friend Odette. You can't see it, but the white border has little blue hand prints on it. Very cute.
