I have finally reached 37 weeks, which was my goal. The baby can come at any time now. Most days are ok, but a few are awful. I don't like having to rest and take it easy all the time and I'm having a really hard time sleeping. Seems like I'm tired and cranky all the time. I guess we should get used to it, hey. My whole body hurts all the time.
Sophie is treating me well. She enjoys playing by herself in the mornings and then takes a good nap. The only hard part is between 2-4 when she usually needs constant attention. Blake usually helps when he gets home.
On Wednesday Kaye and David came up to erect a carport for us. It was lovely weather for them. The got it mostly done. Then this weekend Michael spent all day Sat digging another hole just to fill it in (drain). I hate it when he has to do that, but it's necessary. Sunday was more productive. He made stairs and put in a gate so at least now I can use the carport. Before that you had to scale a muddy bank and climb a fence. Not very accessible for a pregnant woman and a toddler. But we used it for the first time this morning and it was nice.
Next weekend will just be more finishing on that project. We need to finish a retaining well, do some landscaping, and Michael needs to put the finishing touches on the carport itself, trim, gutters, etc. So not very exciting for pictures, till it's all done. So let's hope this baby comes so I have some good things to post about!
