Summer Fun

This week has been extremely hot and humid. We average 33 C with 60-70% humidity. We have used the A/C 2-3 times already and I'm sure that number will rise. I just wish it would break down and actually rain:)

Blake's school term is coming to a close soon. I was privileged to be able to go and watch his swim carnival. For those in the US, that is really just an internal swim meet for his school. He did fairly well and I think it may be the last time I get to see him compete in swimming. I don't think he's going to follow in my footsteps in that sport. He's really taking a liking to footy and baseball instead...but who knows. It's a long hot summer and he may change his mind before the end of Jan.

Sophie and I are trying to survive in the heat. Michael gets to go to work in the A/C :( We did change her sand pit back into a pool but with the water restrictions we can only put about 2 inches in there but it seems to be great for her. And it's amazing how much cooler you are if you sit with your feet in water. I'll leave you with a few videos and pictures.

Sophie loves working on the computer.

The dog loves it when Sophie gets to eat popsicles.

He's still cute as ever, even though he's not a puppy anymore.

This is her "I'm not doing anything wrong look".

Blake diving in!
