Playing

This week was more of the same. Putting finishing details on the shed, going to baseball games and playing with Sophie. It's getting quite hot here but I'm still coping so far. Next week we get to have Thanksgiving dinner at our house. I'm lucky that my in-laws think it's important for me to still celebrate the US holidays over here and participate with much enthusiasm.

We are kind of bummed that we won't be able to go down to see our new nephew in Victoria or make it to our friends wedding in Jan. Though hopefully my sisters travel plans will come through and she will be able to visit us.

Our gardens and trees are going well. We got a few peaches off our peach tree which is extremely good for it's first year with us. We got many beans, our sweet corn is just starting to ripen, our tomatoes have started to take over and our strawberries are about to branch out. All in all, it's going well for us to be hobby farmers. We started a new garden bed this last weekend to plant more things as well.

Sophie in the sand pit. She loves it, but I think we are going to make it back into a pool for the heat of summer.

Blake catching.

Rocky usually tries to sneak into our bed when I get up to use the toilet at night. Most times he's down by my feet and I usually kick him back out unless it's around 5am. This time he was sneaky. He squished between the pillows and I didn't notice him till I woke up!
