Nothing to report this week. We are still planning our trip home and our holiday adventures. I miss the cold and snow that helps get into the Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit. It's just not the same signing Christmas songs when it's 95 degrees outside.
I'm still working away at getting Christmas presents done, when I have any time away from the baby. Blake is doing well in school. We had a rainy week and he got restless and caused a little trouble but that's all fixed. He only has 3 weeks left of school until summer break starts. Michael is back at work after his big triathlon. And Sophie, well she still eats, sleeps and poo's. Though she's not really sleeping well since it's so hot. She still sleeps well at night, and that's a big plus, but she only sleeps collectively for less than 3 hours between 4-5 naps. It makes it hard to get anything done.
This weekend we went down to the farm and then to the beach. We have had so many thunderstorms lately with high winds that a lot of trees are being felled. Kaye and David took some of their massive trees down to prevent them from going over into the house or shed. Michael and Blake got to help with that project. Blake of course had a blast, and then we got to go to the beach too so he was in heaven. Rocky was swimming to fetch sticks. Really swimming, out where it's deep, not just going in up to his chin like he used to.
This week will be more of the same old same old. Rocky gets to go to the vet to get his man hood taken out on Thanksgiving Day. My Dad's birthday is Wednesday. This weekend we get to have a Thanksgiving Feast for our friends and family here, but it's just not the same without having Thursday and Friday off school and work.
That's all I can think of. The blog will be pretty boring between now and Christmas. Then we will have our trips to write about and it will get exciting again.
