Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well, my first Thanksgiving in Australia. Of course they don't celebrate it over here so we didn't get Thursday and Friday off work like all you lucky folks in the US. My actual Thanksgiving was pretty boring. Rocky went to the vet to get his manhood taken away. I watched Mamma Mia and that's about it. That was also the only day Sophie didn't take a long nap so I was exhausted by the end of the day.

Our Feast we had on Sunday. We invited our neighbors and friends from Brooks Rd (where Kaye and David live). Michael was nice to me and let us run the AC. We laid out the works. Cheese, crackers and meat, carmel dip with apples, chips and dip, nuts, cookies...we had everything. For our main meal we had Turkey, stuffing, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, dinner rolls and two green salads. For desert fruit and of course, pumpkin pie! It was a beauty. I don't think I've eaten that well in a long time - well since last Thanksgiving!

Update on me, I'm doing great. I've lost all the weight that I gained with Sophie and only have 3K's left of what I had after the miscarriage. I can fit into my old clothes again and feel great. Though I should probably loose a little more weight as none of what I have is muscle as my working out hasn't been happening. It's too hot!

Blake is finishing up this term for school. We get reports cards on Friday. He has another week left, offically getting out on the 11th, but the last week is just all fun and games.

Sophie is doing well. Last week (except Thursday) she took long naps, all over 2 hours long. She went to sleep one afternoon and woke up and all her clothes were too small. She is now in the 3-6 mo or 00 size. She also started to sing when I'm swaying her to sleep. I think this is due to the fact that I usually hum to get her to stop crying and fall a sleep. Now she "hums" with me!

We got our travel papers last Friday and are making final preperations for our trip. We are so excited! We only have 21 days left, of which we have at least 2 Christmas parties to go to. December should fly by fast. I can't wait to see everyone!
