Travels and Times of the Growing McNaught Family: End of School Rush

The weekend of the 1st and 2nd, we went camping again. Didn't take any photos, I mean really, how many photos of camping can you really get? Don't worry, I'll try to take some more next time. We went with Peta and Jeremy again with Mia and her sisters. It's always great fun, though it's getting a little hot for me. Thankfully only the days are hot and it still cools down for sleeping. That won't last long though.

The swim carnival was only the beginning of Blake's end of year things. We went to a an Arts concert and listened to him in the choir. We also went to a Grade 7 Graduation - over here they go to high school starting in year 8. It was bearable, but only because Michael went to one with me and Kaye went to the other to help with the children. It's hard for them to understand to be quiet. Thomas was quite funny at the choir concert. After each song he kept saying "it's my turn now." really loud. He even sang once. Thankfully that concert was only an hour. The graduation was nearly 3, there was no way we were keeping the kids quiet that long.

Blake has two days left of school. So basically a party day and a cleaning day. We went to our last kids Christmas function today. We've got one more party for us adults on Sat night and then we can settle into the holiday with all of our requirements met. Oh, wait, no, Blake still has to perform at the church on the 23rd, Oh well, it'll just get worse in years to come as my other children get older. I'd best get used to it.

Last weekend we were able to catch up on some house hold stuff on Sat and then have a nice relaxing day at the farm on Sunday. Kaye and David are going on a trip so we wanted to see them one last time before they left. They will be back for Christmas though :).

I couldn't film the whole choir due to storage on my camera, so I just got a few clips from each song. And yes, I know I'm missing a number 3.
