I know, I know, I'm late. Our whole family has been sick, including me, but we will get into that next post, this post is all about Sophie's birthday.
On her Actual birthday (10th of Aug), Michael was away for work, so we just had a small party at home. I invited our neighbours Ben (3) and Charlie (1) and mom Nicole, along with Peta's family so the house was pretty full of kids. Kaye and David showed up to help and it's a good thing they did. With being sick and having Michael away all week I barely got the cake made.
Sophie helped me make her cake. It was chocolate, heart shaped, pink frosted, with flowers all around the edges. She wanted sprinkles too but I told her we should let everyone put on their own sprinkles and then I forgot when it came to party time. Thankfully she forgot too. It was a lovely Friday morning.
Dad got home very late that night so on Sat Sophie got even more presents, and having her Dad home was special as well. The following Wed, Michael took the day off work and we went to Sea World. Blake decided not to join us, he said he's been there several times and he had some test at school. I don't know if I should be proud our worried about that decision at this stage :).
I took mostly videos so there aren't that many pictures, and all the pictures I took at Sea World, most of them were of the animals :(. But please enjoy the few below. And of course watch the videos! I'll update you with the rest of Aug next week.
