How come it's easy to gain weight, but hard to lose it; and it's easy to lose/spend money but hard to gain it?
It's really hard to get back in to update the blog after taking a week off! But I only had 3 photos, 3 videos, and not much to say for the whole two weeks, so a biweekly is really the way to go.
Thomas is taking two naps again, which is making me quite happy. He got his first 4 molars in last week. He's also starting to try words. Nothing recognizable yet, but you can tell he's trying. (Besides Mom and Dad, he's had those down forever.)
Sophie's not crying anymore during swimming lessons, so that was a hurdle crossed, but now we have to fight to get her to eat her Tea. She usually ends up eating it for breakfast, but one day she went 24 hours without eating just because she didn't want to finish what was on her plate.
Blake is back in school and Karate and doing well in both. He has a dance to go to this week and has been working hard to earn money to spend at the tuck shop (concession stand) there.
Michael has been working odd hours for work these last two weeks. Last week he did three shifts of 2-10pm and again today it's a 10-6. It's put a little bit of a strain on me and the kids but we are coping.
I have made my pre-Sophie weight. Or I'm assuming I have. I'm on this new program where I only weigh myself every two weeks. Much better than every day! But last Sunday I put on some of my old work clothes for church and they fit easily. So I've got about 45 more days to get to my goal weight before my birthday comes. I think I can do it. The best birthday present will be a maintenance program instead of a weight loss program.
Thomas, his helmet, and his motorcycle - between his trouble getting on is bike and his sister running into him, it's a good thing he likes his helmet! Though we have gotten one his size now.
Sophie fashion - Jammies on backwards.
Left: Thomas in the car from the Toy Library
Right: Thomas on his motorcycle. He never forgets his helmet!
