Last weekend we spent the days preparing for my mom's visit. I finished up my quilting projects and we cleaned the house. Yes, those took all weekend. On Monday my mom arrived. After a very tiring day for the children without naps, we were all happy to get to bed early. Tuesday was the hottest day of the week so I tried to show her the Rock Pools only to find out they close for maintenance every Tuesday morning.
So basically the only thing we've done since she's gotten here is to go to play groups and shopping. And not the fun shopping, just errands shopping. Thankfully spending time with the children seem to make it worth while. This weekend though we are going to the mountains and next week we should be doing some site seeing. Oh, and we did find time to go visit a few different parks here and there.
