Well, we are almost normal! No exciting drama to report. The weather here is back to normal, which means hot and muggy with an afternoon thunderstorm. The children are behaving and our days pretty much have a routine in them now. Besides our open houses and having to clean the house a little more than I would normally, things are settling down. The flood really put a drop in house sales, and school starts next week so we are deciding if we want to continue to have the house on the market or not. I think we may give it two more weeks and then give up on it. If we stay in this house, I'll have to get off my lazy behind and get at least a part time job. But that might turn out to be good for me, who knows.
Lets run through the last week in a brief summary to make sure I didn't miss anything. Friday I sat around and did nothing during the day - too hot, then we watched movies that night. Sat we had our swimming lessons, then drove to the farm for lunch. We left Blake there and came home early to relax. Sunday Michael dug another drain and we both rested a lot. Monday Thomas went to day care for his second week and Sophie and I had some girl time. We had to clean the house in the morning, but then we dug in the garden and did some painting in the afternoon. Tuesday Blake came home on the train and Sophie went to Daycare. Didn't do anything but sit around that day either. Wednesday we had an open house and went to the park, took naps, and watched a movie.
And today we get to go school shopping and get Blake's hair cut. Exciting I know. Actually it's really exciting for me to be 'normal' even though it means my blog has a few boring entries. At least the pictures are always cute!
Thomas really likes the mirrored doors in our room.
Sophie looking so grown up, going to pre kindy.
Yes, Thomas likes to kiss(slobber on) everyone, even himself.
Michael got the bikes and trailer out and all cleaned up last weekend. Sophie still loves to ride in it. Thomas wasn't quite so sure the first time, and the second time he fell asleep.
He loves nature too.
Nice pictures, glad things are going well for you guys. -Jon
