I missed a week!

I think this is the first time ever that I missed a week in updating my blog! I do apologize for the wait. Last I left you it was Sunday and we were down in Melbourne. We had a great time at Jill's party catching up with all the family members. Monday we went to see Nanna and Pa in Inverloch, and then it was back home for naps and packing. This is also the day that Thomas decided he didn't need to sleep anymore. At least he's happy when he's tired. He changed his bed time from 6pm to 9pm, his 3 naps went from 1.5-2 hours to 20-30 minutes, and he starts to wake up at 4:30 instead of 5:30, with two feeds in the night instead of 1.

Tuesday was a day of travel. We stopped by to see Nan Peg before leaving town and had a nice lunch with her. Wednesday we had our Christmas party at play group. Sophie was too scared to even get her present from Santa, so forget sitting on his lap. Thursday I cleaned, unpacked and did more cleaning. Friday was shopping as we didn't have any food in the house. Sat we had two Christmas parties. One was for Sophie's day care but it got rained out so it's postponed till the 19th. The other one was 'baby's first Christmas' from Playgroup Queensland. Thomas got a little meddle and certificate.

That takes us to this week. Michael and I have decided the best thing to do at this time is to sell our house. So this whole week we've been trying to pick an agent and decluttering our house. It looks very different and is nice to live in, though more work because I have everything put away. Even the kettle and the toaster are in a cupboard so I have to take them out to use them. We should be able to get pictures this week and post it before next Monday, and have our first open house after the New Year.

We started swim lessons last Sat with all three kids. Blake gets to stop when Basketball starts again but I hope to keep the other two in it. Sophie just graduated up to a class where she doesn't go in with a parent so I will be able to take them on a week day without Michael to free up our weekends. Blake had his basketball break-up day on Sat as well. They had a pool party and sausage sizzle. Sophie loved playing in the kiddy pool. I forgot the camera so didn't get photos of Blake getting his trophies, but its a good thing because it rained us out at the end and everything got wet.

This weekend Kaye came up to watch the kids on Friday so we could go to Michael's company Christmas party. It was good fellowship but disappointing in the service and food area. On Sat she said home and helped out a lot with the garden work. Next week we get to paint the outside of the house and put all the finishing touches on it. Michael fixed the back path way and some other small things this weekend as well.

Thankfully Thomas started sleeping again starting yesterday. He's got his two front top teeth in now and is growing out of all his clothes again. He still doesn't go to bed until 9pm but his naps are back to normal and he sleeps in again (till 5:30!).
