We are halfway through our visit to Victoria and it's been nonstop fun, food, and fellowship. We arrived on Wednesday evening just as the sun was going down. Jon and Bec welcomed us with a wonderful pasta dinner and then it was off to bed after the long day of travel. Sophie and Thomas did very well on the plane ride, but didn't like the 2 hour car ride following.
Thursday was officially Thanksgiving but we just did the preparing (thawing the turkey, baking the pie, drying the bread for stuffing, etc) that day and saved the feasting for Friday. Nanna and Pa joined us for a Traditional Thomas Thanksgiving feast. We were even able to skype with my family right before we ate as they were having their Thanksgiving in the South Dakota at the same time. It was fun to share my tradition with more of my family members over here. (Jessie, it's your turn next year!)
Saturday Bec took me to the shops and we found a few good deals, then back home to do some more baking. I made a wonderful chocolate pudding pie and treated them to a pasta dinner of my own. We are all caught up on season 3 of Merlin as well, watching about 4 episodes a night.
Today is Sunday. I've baked banana bread and muffins this morning, then got all caught up on my computer work. Tonight we get to go to Jill's 60th birthday party in Melbourne. It should be fun.
Careful - there is nudity in one of these.
And some left over from last week.
Thomas is a very good sitter now.
Cousins playing.
Thomas is his Christmas Crown.
More cousin play.
Sophie fashion - Blue shirt with sea animals on it, red with white poke-a-dot and lace tights, pink shawl, and a mess and purple ribbon skirt.
Sophie fashion - Thomas' jammies zipped up to the waste, blue shirt and lolly, oh and she has her red tights on under it all.
Thomas really enjoys playing with balls.
Even ones that are too big for him!
Sophie fashion - two pairs of sock, jammie pants, and three layers of swimmers.
