Visitors all gone :(

I left you last Friday with Leah and Jon at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. They said they had a great time but were really ready for rest. I don't know if you would call it resting, but Sat we all went to Cram's Farm. It's a nice little lake type area where we had a picnic and Leah and Jon had a paddle in the kayaks. Then we went for a drive in the country to end up in a nice little cafe where we had Tea and then we went off to explore Natural Arch. It's best to get there at dusk and we were right on time, even though we stopped along the way to get some scenic photos.

Natural Arch is a bridge looking thing that has a water fall going into sort of a hole, then into a cave, under the arch and back out to the stream. It's hard to describe but very beautiful. You want to get there at dusk to see it, but then stay till dark because there are glow worms in the cave. Of course we couldn't get any photos of them, it being dark and all, but it was a neat experience. We also found some along the banks of the trail on the way back to the car park.

Sunday we sort of rested too, though we did make it for a real swim in the beach. Finally it wasn't too cold, to late in the day or raining. Leah and Jon did some wave diving with Blake. Kailtyn is still unsure of the whole beach thing, but I'm sure she will come around. After that we packed up, stopped by Tropical Fruit World for some made to order ice cream and then headed back home. Monday we were going to try to get to Wet 'n Wild (a water park) but once again we were tired, full of sun, and Leah started to get the illness I had that she fought off successfully for the first two weeks she was here. We did a little more shopping and rested.

Tuesday was there last day here. They did get to see Blake during his Swim Carnival during all their packing and cooking. They made us a wonderful Lebanese meal that we are still enjoying! 4am Wednesday morning had us off to the airport. After I dropped them I had a very busy day with Chiro appointments, playgroup, laundry, house cleaning etc. I should be able to get the house all back in order just in time for us to leave for Melbourne next week.
