Misc

Well this week was pretty much the most stressful week where nothing happened that I've ever had. Last Thursday I quilted but didn't get hardly any done because Thomas was cranky. Michael stayed up to help me that night as one of the quilts was for a baby shower on Sat. On Friday we picked up Blake from school early and packed the kids up so Michael could have his minor surgery. Thankfully there was a nice lawn area out front so while we waited an hour we played chase and other fun games.

Sat was rough because Michael couldn't help me with anything. I took all three kids to two basketball games. Then rushed home, finished tying my quilt, packed up some pinwheels, Thomas, and my just finished quilt and headed off to a baby shower, then rushed home to feed and put the kids to bed. I knew it was going to be rough and was prepared for it. But Sunday was supposed to be my relaxing day!!! And it wasn't. Thomas was so cranky, Michael tried to help by distracting Sophie but she didn't want to leave my side, Blake was doing a sewing project so needed my attention as well and the house needed to be cleaned since I was gone the whole day before! Geez. I was so happy Monday came....then...

We went in to get Thomas his needles/pokes/shots. If I thought he was cranky before! He's had a fever and puked up three times today. Hopefully today was the worse and now he can start to get better. I hope he's well before Leah and Jon get here! I've been so stressed out that the knots in my back and shoulders actually feel like they are raw places or blisters, but when examined there is no mark. So I had to treat myself to a massage tonight. I have a Chiropractor appointment on Friday and another massage on Sat and Monday. Hopefully I can get myself all fixed up and then not do this again. Why do I get so tensed up about little things? It will help once I can get into my workout routine again. I've been walking but it just doesn't relieve the stress like some good cardio or relax you like some good yoga.
