We arrived on Hamilton Island Sunday afternoon. That day we checked out our apartment, toured a bit of the island, checked out the 'town', cooked Tea (dinner) and watched a movie. The weather was decent, a little over cast but warm. Monday we basically stayed around the place recovering from the flight. Anything out of the normal really tire our children out. We did get a chance to walk the 'strip' and try out all five swimming pools and also walk along the beach. It drizzled on us, but wasn't too bad. On Tuesday we went on the Yellow Sub tour which I will put in another posting.
Wednesday we recovered from our tour, went swimming, went to the beach, you know the normal stuff. It was very rainy and Jeremiah's diving tour got postponed till Thursday. On Thursday we spent the morning at the beach. Then Jeremiah went diving and Blake and Michael went out on the catamaran. I stayed with the little ones. Unfortunately we all came down with colds. Friday Jeremiah took the kids for a walk on the beach while we cleaned up and packed.
Over all it was a nice relaxing week. Video's will follow in the next post as I'm still waiting for them to upload. There will be 3 posts just so I can fit in all the photos.
The 'hot' tubs were the same temperature as the main pools. It was disappointing for Michael and I, but the kids had a blast playing in the 'bubble' pool.
