The calm before the storm - I mean the fun!

This week has been pretty calm. Just getting ready for our BBQ to break in the new veranda and the visit from my brother. This weekend Michael just did some more clean up and piddled around. It was rainy so didn't do too much outside. I worked on getting my scrap books updated. This week was more of the same. We pretty much have the same routine. Wake up around 6, feed Thomas, feed the rest of us, clean up, feed Thomas again and put him down for his nap around 8. Then I get to do my morning stuff, dishes, laundry, check email etc. When Thomas wakes up, about 10, we walk to the shops, get back in time for lunch around 11, put both kids down for a nap a little after 12. Then I get to work on a project, scrap book, quilting, blog etc. Kids wake up around 2 and we play outside till Dad gets home.

The weather here has really changed. It went from really nice during the day and cool at night, to either raining and humid, or really hot and humid. Oh well, it will be a nice welcome for Jeremiah when he comes! Blake has been a big help this week (much better than last week when I was ready for school to start again already!) and I've gotten all my scrap books up to date and ready to go for future use. Now I've got to get back to quilting. I have 3 half finished and one just started and need all 4 of them done by Thanksgiving :) Shouldn't be too hard with family here to entertain the children.

Busy busy these next few months.
Oct 3-16 Jeremiah visiting
Oct 9-15 Holiday to Hamilton Island
Oct 17 Walk-a-thon
Oct 18-28 - 4 dentist appointments and one small surgery
Nov 3-17 Leah, Jon and Kaitlyn visit
Nov 24-30 trip to Melbourne to see Jon and Bec's new house, late happy birthday to Nan Peg and Lachlan, say hi to Nanna Bonnie and Pa and a bunch of other important people and Thanksgiving!
Whew! Won't have a shortage of stuff for the blog will I! Stay tuned:)

Ain't they just cute when they are sleeping?:)

Sophie had a penguin, rocky had a penguin, so we thought Thomas should get a penguin too.

Sophie and all her teddies with ear piercings. (Yes, she really did do this all on her own.)

My laundry helper likes to make sure that the shirts don't fall off.

Thomas just loves his walker. Though he can only go backwards in it so far.

And every one loves Lolly, even Thomas.

Blake's sharing his new chair with everyone! What a nice big brother.

He's really starting to get the hang of using his hands.
