Still hanging in there

Not much to type this week, but still have plenty of pictures. Blake is still doing well in Basketball. He is playing on two teams, the Under 10's and the Under 12's. He really likes it, though I don't know what is going to happen with baseball starts. He will have to choose between the two in a few weeks. Sophie is still adapting but doing well. She sometimes wakes in the night when I'm feeding Thomas but goes right back to sleep after a nappy change and a 2 minute rocking. She hasn't cried when we put her to bed in nearly a week. We are going to try her in a big girl bed when we are down at the farm this weekend and see how it goes.

Thomas is still growing. He stayed awake for the whole two hours of play group this week. Then he went to bed at 6pm and I was worried that he would be up all night, but he only woke for two feeds and then got up at 7am. It was really nice having a sleep in. Usually our kids are up at 5. Last weekend we just worked more on the house. Kaye and David came up and we got the gutters on. Then Sunday Michael started some of the Tin so we have partial covering and it's a good thing too, because then it rained all week. Most of our dirt was under cover so we don't have too much mud.

I was able to work outside for the first time since we started this project. The front garden where the old veranda was had to be redone or the plants were going to die. So I got that all pretty and nice and will try to extend it the rest of the length of the veranda during our next work weekend. It was great to finally be able to say I helped with something.
