My how time flies. Nothing big happened this week, or last, but I did remember to take some pictures and video's. The veranda is still coming along slowly. No progress that you can really see on photo's though. Michael did list everything in a detailed list so even though I can't see anything different, I got to cross off three items, which was very exciting for me.
Blake started playing basketball this term. His first game was Sat. He seemed to remember everything he learned a few years ago when he played back in Colorado. He even got picked to play in both the Under 10's team and the Under 12's team. He also got his report card for the last two terms and we have a great student. He got all A's except 2. Those were U's. Here it stands for Always, and Usually.
I'm still trying to get things organized. I'm selling all our girl clothes, my pregnant clothes, and the clothes Thomas has grown out of on ebay. When you do groups of 3-4 items each and only post about 7 a week, it's going to take me a long time to get through everything, but it's very time consuming!
Sophie is still expanding her vocabulary. She still surprises us sometimes with how much she picks up. Usually when we get ready to leave, it's bye-bye, no matter where we go, but this morning she looked at Michael's clothes and said "work". She's adapting to sharing very well, and is learning what time out means. She even sometimes puts herself in time out. Yesterday I was sitting at the table and she sat down on her time out mat. I asked her if she did something naughty and though I couldn't understand what she was saying, she sure did know exactly what she did and why she was sitting there.
Thomas is growing big. Last Thursday he was 5.88kg (13 lbs) and 59 cm (23 inches). He has pretty good head control. He eats 3 times in a row at 2 hours apart, and then takes a 5-6 hour nap and then wakes up and does it again. Thankfully one of those long naps usually happens during the night. He is now wearing 3-6 month clothes or size 00.
Here are some great videos and photos.
Don't worry, she knows not to cover up his head.
It's kind of long, but watch till the end, the last 15 seconds is really funny.
He's number 9
My she's an advanced reader.
All the toys are lined up getting ready to be pushed into the water, I mean, getting ready to dive in.
She has now started to cuddle and hug on Thomas.
Use number 18 for the feeding pillow.
Yes, Thomas is under there. Don't worry he can breath, I made sure she learned not to cover his head.
Sophie is sharing her Teddy's with Thomas while he is sleeping.
Such a strong neck.
