For the house: Since we aren't getting the extension done, I had one window (that was going to be moved/taken out) that I had to do a curtain for. Got that done but Michael hasn't hung it up yet. Sold all the extra furniture so we can move in our house. Started cleaning out the shed. Still need to have a garage sale or two to get everything out. Ordered a water tank, should be here this week. Michael has dug a whole for it. Getting quotes to put up a carport and a veranda. That's about it. Nothing seems to be moving, just a lot of calling and ordering and organizing at the moment. Hence no pictures.
Blake: School term ends on April 1st and he will have a week and a few days off school. Haven't thought of what to do during the break yet but I'm sure I can put him to work. He has one step left on his quilt and we should finish that tonight. We'll get pictures of it for next weeks blog. He's doing a few projects in school instead of normal homework so that's been a fun challenge.
Sophie: Still passively potty training. Which basically means we only put her on the toilet after she sleeps. Though she has learned the words poo poo and pee pee. Just in the last few days she has told us when she has to go poo poo. She also takes her nappy off when she pee's so it won't be long now. I think I could probably get it all done at once if I was willing to let it take over my whole life for a week, but I'm too lazy.
It's been very wet here. The pecans are starting to fall. This weekend we went down to the farm to help pick up the ones that have fallen on the ground. If you leave them on the wet ground then they will rot. The trees aren't ready for shaking yet, that will be another few weeks.
Upcoming events. Our life should get exciting again soon, well after two weeks. We have Jon and Bec coming up for Easter with their new little one, we have Easter, and Blake's birthday. So keep reading, it will get better soon. Think of this as the lull, before the storm.
