We have made it through the first week of the summer holidays. Blake did great on his first day of doing the paper route on his own, plus he took another one because someone was on holiday. He enjoyed spending every bit of his money the first day he got it too. We had fun making Christmas tree ornaments and of course we got to clean the house. Blake finished his last week of baseball until the end of Jan. Michael and I went down town Brisbane for a Christmas dinner with his work. All it all it wasn't too bad of week considering we were all sick.
I was sick most of the week and am still trying to recover. Sophie was sick on Wednesday and got better but was teething and then she got sick in bed last night again. Michael only had a tummy bug for one day and seems to have recovered fine and so far Blake has escaped totally.
I think it's the worse being sick and pregnant at the same time because you can't take anything. I not only had a head cold but a stomach flu and being pregnant at the same time. It was awful. Now I am only dealing with a stuffy nose.
We had our 12 week scan last week. Seems everything is looking good. No other news on that front. I guess no news is good news there. Blake and Sophie seem to be enjoying their time together. Blake is also learning to type this break. I told him if he can start typing without looking at the keyboard he could get his own email address. We got some tutorials from the Library and he seems to like them.
Sophie in the shower - warning, nudity.
Mashed potatoes are actually really good for fork practice.
Since we have done so much blowing of our noses this week, Sophie thought Teddy needed to blow his nose too. She also loves to put the tissues in the rubbish. It's only a matter of time until other things follow:(
