Australia's Mother's Day was last Sunday 10th of May, which is the same as the US but oddly enough different from Mother England's, whose is in March. Who is it that actually decides these things anyway?
It was a lovely day with lovely weather. Michael got up with the Baby and although I couldn't sleep in, I did get to stay in bed and read for another 20 minutes instead of feeding the baby. Then I got to eat bacon, which is a real treat for me. After that we took Kaye and David to look at a house (exciting I know) and then came back for Tea.
After that we went to Tamborine State Park for a little hike. It was very crowded but enjoyable. It was a hike nearly identical to the one in Spearfish canyon down to see Spearfish falls. It starts at the top and goes down, to see the falls at the bottom and then continues to make a circle coming back up. It wasn't that long but just perfect since we only had half a day.
Then we had a picnic on the grass and some frisbie playing until it got coolish. Then we headed home for a nice relaxing evening. Michael gave me some massage oils, massage included, and Blake gave me some Potpourri and my own coin purse back.
Below are some pictures from the hike. Next week I'll start a series to go through a detailed update on each member of the family.
