Easter

Easter weekend was full of fun.  We spent it down at the farm for the beginning of harvest.  I got some good pictures and will do a series on Pecans later.  It rained a lot so we couldn't get the tractor up in the paddacks to shake a lot of the trees, but we did enough for me to see the processes.

Blake's real birthday was on Easter day this year.  We woke ata 7am and of course he wanted to open gifts first.  Here are the video's of Sophie and Blake opening their gifts.

Shortly after breakfast Aunt Judy and Uncle Al came to help with the harvest and brought more gifts from nanna.  All in all, Blake thought he was a very lucky boy.  About 9:30 Lincoln and Montana came and Kaye coached them all in making their own Easter baskets.  After that I helped them color their eggs.  Then they went to watch a movie while the Easter bunny came to hide their eggs.  I did all of Easter for a few art supplies we already had and $5 in chocolate!

After the egg hunt we all came in for lunch.  Janet made Blake a pumpkin pie which he requested for his birthday cake.  Here is the video of him blowing out his candles.

The only thing that could have been better would to have had my family in attendance as well.

Don't leave your treats on the floor or Sophie will get them.

Home made baskets for the kids.

Uncle Al and Blake playing with the balloons.

Blake and his monster sized chocolate Egg.

Sophie really does go through reading material rather quickly.

Sophie and Blake settled down to watch a movie on family night.

See I have three teeth now!  (Well actually now she has nearly 4 as this picture was taken last week.)
