A day in the life

So last weekend we went down to the farm and Kaye took us to another beautiful place for a picnic by the creek.  The children got to play in the waterfalls and pool.  It was hot but over cast for most of it.  The water wasn't too cold but I didn't bring my swimmers so I couldn't enjoy it.  We won't have too much of this type fun as it's nearing on Winter.  It doesn't get too cold here, but the water does get a bit chilly.

The rest of the week was just boring.  I was in a funk that I knew I should do something but my to do list was so long I just didn't do anything.  I made a new friend at swimming (Sophie's lessons) and we went on a walk today.  She lives close to us and her daughter is about 2 months older than Sophie.  Claire is much more talkative but less mobile so we hope they will learn from each other.

I have started actively looking for a job.  Well actively if you count 5 minutes a day sitting down to search and deciding I don't want to go to work.  So finally I started looking at home jobs.  I'm hoping to get something that pays in USD so I can have proof of income over there incase we decide to invest in some land.

I've gotten two more videos for you, but neither of them contain Sophie!  Amazing huh.  One is of Rocky playing with 2 lbs weghts, which is funny because then his hind legs don't always touch the ground and the other one is of Blake playing at the waterfalls.

These are classic.  Get the kid a present and they play in the box instead.  My mom has pictures of us playing in boxes so I thought I would join the box club.  My mom recently mailed us Easter and birthday presents and this is the box they came in.

Most kids get caught in the cookie jar.  Ours gets caught in the fruit baskets:)

Don't worry it's clean!  This is Michael's new bike he's putting together.  She's testing the brakes for him to make sure they work in wet weather.

Waiting for Daddy to come home.

On the way home from swim lessons.  Yes that is a piece of fruit on her chin/lips.
