Air Show

Well not much more exciting happened for the rest of Blake's School Holiday. Blake had a sleep over at Grandma Kaye's and I picked him up on Tuesday. Wednesday I took a two hour sugar Glucose test for diabetes. It was negative this time so that's good. Thursday we went to see a live TNMT show where they danced and sung and taught about fighting pollution. Friday Sophie had her first set of shots so I was home with her the rest of that day and all day Sat. Blake got to go to a few friends houses and swim in the pool and Michael went down to the farm on Sat to help out. We now have 4 chucks (chickens) so our eggs will be much cheaper now.

Sunday we got to go to the airshow. It was at the air force base here. It was pretty neat. They had a few American planes there. I remember the F18 and the C130. They have the equivalent of our Blue Hornets, though I can't remember what they are called. The Royal something and they are red. It was 32 degrees and very very hot. We were in the shade the whole day except to go to the loo (toilet) and get a smoothie and I still got a dark enough tan to look like I was out in the Colorado sun for hours. We even applied Sun cream twice during the day as well. And remember, this is only spring.

We leave tomorrow to go down to Melbourne for Jon's wedding (Michael's brother). It is much nicer down there. Less humid, and only 25 degree's during the day and it gets down to 10 at night. I can't wait.. I probably won't be able to update the blog again until next Tuesday when we return. We are going to get a good family photo when we are all dressed up. It will be for our Christmas cards as well, but I'll post it on here too.

I have decided not to go back to work and have put in my resignation. I missed so much of Blake growing up while I was going to school and working, I am just really enjoying my days with Sophie. I really didn't think I could cut it as a stay at home mum (mom) but so far it's been a nice challenge. After I get my Spouse Visa I'll probably get a part time job while Sophie is at play time and Blake is at school. I think interaction with other children is really good for kids so I'm hoping to put her in a day care for 2-3 days a week for a few hours. Of course this is after she's 6 months old or so and can actually play with toys and children!

Miss you all.

Michael picked these pictures so of course he has to have something bright and shiny.

Also leave it to Michael (a guy) to cut off the cut shoes that goes with the outfit! She just looked so cute in her dress. Though it was so hot she was down to her nappy (diaper) in no time.

Enjoying the shade!

So even though they don't have to put up with a king or queen locally, since they are affiliated with England they still get to put Royal on everything! It's not fair. I want to be "royal" too! Hey wait, now I am! hehehe, aren't you all jealous?
