Time is getting shorter now

So after the drama of the week before, things have settled down but definitely haven't gotten dull.

May 20th - 22nd we had visitors at work. Euclene was in town for her final face to face training. We are still working together over the computer but she has things well in hand. Suzanne (my boss) was also in town. There were many meetings and good lunches to attend.

May 23rd we had our going away party for Blake. I had it scheduled at the park because we have no toys left and didn't really want lots of kids at my house with nothing to play with or to do. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was windy and cold with a little rain scattered around. He did have 5 people show up and was very happy about that.

May 23rd and 24th I tried to have my garage sale again. This time I put up about 30 signs and it went great. By mid day on Friday there was hardly any stuff left and no big stuff to draw attention. Had a lot of drive by's but not too many stopped. Sat we got rid of a few more small items but most people just looked from the car. I put up a big sign that said "Everything 1/2 off" and that got some people to stop. By noon we were tired and there was very little left so we closed up shop, but everything on the corner and said "Everything Free". We watched from the window. People are so funny when it comes to free stuff! Wow, they were all trying to get everything first. I'm surprised no fights broke out.

My Mom, Sister and Brother-in-Law came into town late Friday night. The weekend with them went well, though we didn't really do anything special. They helped with the garage sale. Then we went to dinner and the new Narnia movie. Sunday I can't even remember what we did, and Monday we shopped in the morning and I worked from 11am to about 7pm. My Mom left Monday afternoon. Leah and Jon are still with us. We get to take them out to diner tonight and they leave on the plane tomorrow.

Michael comes home tonight!!!!! Whoot Whoot. It has been a long few weeks with him being absent, but I saved up all my chores and duties to give him when he gets home! He'll be so excited to hear that, won't he??!!! Thursday and Friday are jam packed with errands and preparation for our first trip to SD and Vegas. We leave Friday after Blake gets out of school. He's really excited he only has 2 days of school left.

Today was my last day in the office. My good friend Angie had a cake (Angel food, with whip topping and fresh strawberries! yum yum) for me and everyone signed a card. There is so much writing in it, that I'm going to save it for the plane ride. And don't forget the little balloon that I just know Blake will take over when he sees it. I tried to stop by and see everyone but don't think I made it. I hope you all got the evite to our party on June 8th. If not let me know.
