This post is about a few of the little details that go into a house.
This shows the way that the siding (weather boards) are situated once finished, against the door opening. A bead of colour matched caulk is used to seal between the door frame and the siding.
This picture shows a few details of the wiring in progress. All the yellow wires (12 gauge, 2 core plus ground) are run from receptacle box to box. We used over 1000 ft of this wire in the house, but it really only took a couple of days to complete.
Lighting wall boxes
Here is a view of rubbish... and the way the wiring is routed around the outside of a room. In this room there will be 5 outlets.
