Back Yard Fun

Winter here has settled into some pretty nice weather. It's chilly in the morning and evening but during the day it's sunny clear skies, and long sleeve t-shirt weather in the shade. You can even work up a sweat if you play in the sun. Our routine hasn't changed much. We have been fighting off sicknesses. No one has come down with anything yet (fingers crossed) but there were a few coughs and a runny nose.

Yesterday I realized that I didn't get any photos, so I got the camera out while we were having our outside play in the afternoon. The rest of the week was normal. We did get Thomas' one year immunizations on Friday. Sat we went to the farm and worked trimming trees and moving branches. Sunday we had a nice afternoon lunch over at Dot's house after church. Monday was swimming, Tuesday bible study, Wednesday playgroup as always. It was Toy library week this week so we got some fun toys, if I can get them to stop fighting over them.

One more week without Blake. School holidays start too, so no routine, play groups, etc next week. Just in time too! My blog was getting boring. We had some problems with Blake's ticket so I have to go to Sydney to meet him next Thursday. That should be an adventure. We have our second official date night tonight. We had one when we went to a movie, then the last one wasn't official because Blake and my mom came and we went bowling. Tonight I think we are just going to dinner and then grocery shopping. Romantic I know. But it really is a treat to go shopping without the children :)

Man, they have grown up so big so fast!

Sophie fashion:
Right: Swim suit and shoes. I guess she wants to be a pageant girl.
Left: Purple short sleeve shirt and pink sports pants under a pink and purple dress and bear slippers. She does a good job matching now days.

For some reason the kids like to play under the trampoline. I guess cause it feels like a fort or something?

Playing outside, and the odd one out of Thomas doing the dishes. The bottom left are the toys we got from the library.
