Boy! Is it hot!!!

One month of summer left! I can't wait:) We have resorted to using the A/C these last few days. It really hasn't been that hot, but with the humidity up to 75%, boy is it stiiiiiiicky. Yuck.

This past weekend we had a nice time down at the farm. We did our swim lessons early so we could go down Friday after Blake got home from school. I had a nice child free time most of Sat and Sunday morning while helping Kaye sew Roman Blinds for 4 of her windows. Michael and David did a wonderful job of monitoring the children.

Michael also had time to go and teach Blake how to play in the stock damn. Fun times. This week I experimented at a new pool with swimming lessons. One that's closer to home. It also has a child minding place in case I ever get up the courage to swim myself. Blake started squad there as well. He was complaining how hard it was so I guess they are working him harder than the last place we went. (He went for a whole year and didn't improve in anything!) So hopefully he starts to like it after his muscles stop hurting.

Playgroup started this week as well. I'm trying not to get too caught up in things because I hope to be moving soon, but it is just so tempting. I want Blake to join the cadets and there is another play group closer to home that I wanted to try with the kids. Sophie and Thomas will be ending their time at playgroup next week and I really need things to wear them out.

I want to say I started my next cross stitch, but I've only done one stitch on it. But I guess separating and labeling all the colors, finding the midpoint and fray checking the edges should count for something right? I had an hour on my to do list today but we had an inspection come up so I spent the time cleaning the house instead.

Thomas is crawling everywhere now. Nothing is safe. He even opens drawers and cupboards. The hurricane that you all hear about is several miles north of here. Thanks for all the well wishes though!

Kids running in the sprinkler. You can only do that if you have a tank, you can't use town water. Though I don't think we will have drought issues this year?:)

Kids playing in the stock dam.

My family......my how they are growing!

3 dogs and 3 children in the ute. You try to get the all looking at you at the same time!

My oldest boys. Aren't they handsome.
