me me me me

I was going to do Blake's update next, but I had to take the 100th post for myself:)  Plus I need to get more pictures of Blake so another few days would help.

Not much going on here with me.  Both Michael and I would like a little bit more income (wouldn't we all!), but we both agree that I need to stay home and finding a job I can do mornings, during naps and evenings while at home is a bit hard these days.  I'm still sewing so maybe one day I'll be good enough and fast enough to sell them for a little extra.  The problem with that is by the time you count your hours and the materials, you never come out in the positive.    Though if we only count materials, and since I'm not doing much else I have the hours to give for free, it might work for a bit.  I recently finished a cross stitch for Leah and Jon's baby.  I'm just waiting for the name, birth date and weight to finish it, then I can post pictures.  I am currently working on a graduation present for our cousin Mandi.  It's small and shouldn't take me more than a few weeks.  Then I have to finish Jon and Bec's gift, which keeps getting put off (good thing their baby isn't due till Oct!)  After that I finally get to start something new and exciting!  I can't wait.

We have started house hunting.  The problem is our taste buds go to the places that are 500-600K and our budget is 205-300K.  Quite a bit of difference.  The other option is to buy land and build our own house.  I am far to driven to be in charge of this aspect as I would want to find something and start moving next week, so I'm staying out of it and letting Michael do most of the work.  He takes me to a few look sees and always asks my opinions though of course.  We went to look at the models of the 15 different homes  you can build in this neighborhood and it's amazing how much space people waste now days.  I mean who needs 3 sitting rooms? Or 5 verandas? And then the skimp on the kitchen counters and the bathrooms.  It's so weird.

I have started to work out again.  There are three reasons for that.  1. I'm not breast feeding anymore. 2. I am starting to have upper back pains due to reading and sewing so much. 3. Always of course to loose weight, feel better, and tone up the sag.  It has been quite fun so far.  I've been on it for 2 full weeks and this is my third.  It's been cold and rainy here so even though I sweat lots, it's bearable.  The weather here goes to about 20 (68) at night to about 26 (78) during mid day.  Unless it's raining, then it stays about 23 (73).  It will start to get slightly cooler as we get more into winter.

And that's about all I have for myself.  We are trying to schedule a camping trip and some other fun things for the month of June, otherwise this blog will get so boring we'll have to start updating it once a month instead of 1-2 a week.
