Good-bye Australia

Well tonight is my last night in Australia. She's been really nice to me this last week. Only two hot days and one hot night that I had to deal with and today is nearly cold! They must want me to come back:) This week was all about prepping and packing so not much to tell, but I got some good pictures. We had our Secret Santa with the neighbors on Wednesday and that was great fun. The kids all got water guns and were able to cool off.

We had a nice dinner out with Michael's work on Friday. We partied it up. I even had a smoothie! Wow, what a party animal. We even stayed out till midnight! I was so proud of myself. Sat morning we had Christmas with Michael's parents and sister. Sophie has really gotten the hang of opening presents already.

Sophie is crossing some large milestones, which is nice since Kaye and David get to see them before we leave. She easily rolls from her back to her front now and can nearly get up on all fours. She is also very interested in food and drink. She stares you down when you are eating till you give her some. So we have started her on a little cereal a day and she does great.

Well that is all for now. The next blog entry will be from America! We leave at 7:30am from home. At 11:30am, Sunday Dec 21st we depart the country and we arrive in the US at 1:30pm on the same day! It's only a 2 hour flight??? I only wish. Don't you love time zones.
